In poker, players reveal their cards one by one. If you have the highest five-card hand, you win the round. After the draw phase, the next round begins with antes and blinds. Each player is dealt seven cards, one by one. In Omaha, the best hand is the five-card one. Then, the betting phase begins between the newly-dealt cards. Afterwards, you must show your cards and hope that your opponents don’t beat you.

During the betting round, the players are given intervals for placing their chips in the pot. In some cases, a player is required to place chips equal to the amount of money of the player who came before him. These players are referred to as “active players” if they make a bet. In this case, the player who made the bet is considered an active player. So, how do you decide when to make a bet?
