The players are then each given two cards, which they must keep secret from everyone else in the hand. They must then choose whether or not to call the ante, bet into the hand or fold.<\/p>\n
Betting rounds are interrupted when a player raises their bet or when another player checks (stays in without betting). Once all the players have checked, the round ends and a showdown is held where the hands are shown.<\/p>\n
The highest five-card hand wins the pot. The best possible hand is a straight flush. A straight flush is a five-card hand that includes all of the same suit, for example 5-6-7-8-9.
